2025 Annual Statements Available in the Portal
The 2025 Annual Statements are now available in the MySCERS Portal for active and deferred members.
The Annual Statement provides account information such as the member’s plan and tier membership, reciprocal system(s), and cumulative retirement contribution and interest balance and years of service as of December 31, 2025.
Board Approves 2026 COLA
On February 18th, the SCERS Board of Retirement approved the following Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) levels effective April 2026, as recommended by the system’s actuary:
Miscellaneous Tier 1 and Safety Tier 1
- with retirement date between 4/1/1976 and 3/31/2026 = 2.0%
- with retirement date on or before 3/31/1976 = 4.0%
Miscellaneous Tiers 3, 4, and 5, and Safety Tiers 2, 3, and 4:
Contribution Refunds for 7/12-Shift Workers
The Sacramento County Employees’ Retirement System (SCERS) is processing contribution refunds for about 435 County employees who work the “7/12” shift.
The refunds are due to past and present Miscellaneous Tier 5 employees who worked a 7/12 shift since April 2019.
