The Board Education Policy and Government Code Section 31522.8 require Board Members to complete 24 hours of Board Member education within the first two years of assuming office and for every subsequent two-year period thereafter. Government Code Section 53235.1 requires at least two hours of Ethics training within one year of assuming office and every two years thereafter. Government Code Section 12950.1 requires at least two hours of Sexual Harassment Prevention training within six months of assuming office and every two years thereafter.
