SCERS has published its Strategic Vision Plan to 2041, “The Centennial Blueprint“ that outlines how we will continue to be a reliable retirement partner for generations to come. It’s a roadmap for how we will evolve, modernize, and strengthen our service, while staying true to the mission that has guided us since 1941.

SCERS began the Strategic Vision Plan project last spring by surveying members, employer representatives, SCERS’ consultants, staff, and Retirement Board members to understand what we are doing well and where we can improve. Your enthusiastic feedback was incorporated into the plan, focusing on long-term challenges and opportunities across financial, demographic, and operational issues. The Retirement Board adopted the plan in November 2025.
